A picture tells a thousand stories. In our Posh Scrapbook there will eventually be more than a thousand images. Players A to Z and great moments in our clubs history are all featured here. If you have a picture that you think merits inclusion in our Posh Scrapbook, please e-mail us at plosh@londonroad.net with the details.

(Under Construction, at present only the top 2 rows of the big scrapbook are completed.)

The Ground

Huddersfield away, 14/05/92

2-0 down at half-time, Chris Turner's Posh staged a memorable fightback to draw 2-2 and gain promotion to the (then) third division. Re-live that afternoon with these images.

The London Road Stadium has undergone many changes both internally and externally over the years. Sad pictures of the Glebe being demolished are included in this section.

5,000 Posh fans travelled for this match in the vain hope of reaching Wembley. It turned out to be the greatest match ever for many of the Posh fans who made the long trip.

The Supporters

Wembley 1992

Wembley 2000

From the swinging 60's to the hooligan days of the 70's and 80's the supporter has been the common denominator. Happy times and sad times are all captured here.

Fantastic images of before, during and after Posh's famous Wembley victory of 1992, when the promised land of the first (then second) division was finally achieved on a sunny day in May.

It seemed to be the wettest day in living memory, but it was once again another Posh victory at Wembley, 1-0 over Darlington, in the year the old stadium was to be demolished.

Team pictures

There have been many different Mr. Posh's through the years - who could ever forget Jolly Jack Carmichael falling over on his Mr. Posh debut. Also, remember when Mr. Blobby met Mr. Posh?

We'll never forget that December night when Gary Kimble's goal knocked the mighty Liverpool out of the League Cup. I don't think I've ever heard the London Road end sing so loud since.

Teams from the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's are featured here along with the odd team picture from the 40's and 50's, plus an odd Christmas snap. Can you name all the players in the line-up's?
