Will Johnson ring the changes?
A large travelling Posh contingent left Dean Court soggy and miserable after the first away match of the season ended in a 5-1 humiliation. Kelvin Langmead’s goal was the only positive for Posh, as a 15-minute hattrick from Brett Pitman brought us back down to earth with a bloody great bump.
Speaking afterwards, Johnson told Radio Cambridgeshire he had laid into his underperforming players and hinted that one or two weren’t up for it. With that in mind, and a big home match against Huddersfield next Saturday, should we expect to see a different starting line-up? We suspect that the unconvincing pair of Nathaniel Mendez-Laing and Nana will be the first names struck off the team-sheet, with Tommy Rowe and Aaron Davies the two players most likely to benefit.
