Johnson to take charge this week

Gary Johnson

Young and hungry?

Londonroad.net understands that former Bristol City, Yeovil and Cambridge manager Gary Johnson will be named as the new manager of Peterborough United within the next 48 hours. Johnson, who watched from the directors box as Posh were unlucky to lose 3-2 to Newcastle on Easter Saturday, is expected to sign a long-term contract and will take charge of the home game against Leicester on Saturday. Jim Gannon’s last game will be the trip to Barnsley on Easter Monday.
